About the assignment
EOLIS is looking for a Conversational AI Designer & Content Specialist to join a leading Belgian bank in the Brussels region. You join a team of conversation designers who work closely with data, AI and digital channel squads. Your mission is to shape and continuously improve the chatbot and voice bot experiences customers use every day, and to take the lead in bringing those experiences from chat into voice. You combine conversation design with hands-on work on NLU models, GenAI prompts and performance analytics.
Your responsibilities
- Design and configure conversation flows, intents, entities and fallback strategies for both standard journeys and edge cases.
- Translate existing chat journeys into voice by adapting structure, pacing and turn-taking, and define a consistent voice persona and tone.
- Structure and manage bot content so it stays searchable, reusable and easy to adapt in Dutch, French and English.
- Analyse performance data, conversation logs and drop-off points to find root causes and set improvement priorities.
- Test usability and model quality before and after development, including the evaluation of GenAI responses.
- Work with data, AI and digital channel squads to turn business needs into conversation designs that are both feasible and user-friendly.
- Set guardrails, content guidelines and quality criteria that keep answers accurate, accessible and compliant.
- Build and maintain a content library, design patterns and test routines together with your fellow conversation designers.
Your profile
- At least 3 years of experience in conversation design for chat, backed by a portfolio of technical and GenAI-driven work.
- Solid understanding of NLU fundamentals (intents, entities, training data) and of human-AI interaction in text and voice.
- Hands-on experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Rasa Studio, and with LLM tooling.
- Experience testing and evaluating bot conversations with analytics, conversation logs and structured feedback.
- Able to structure content for scale and reuse, and comfortable in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Analytical, independent and persuasive: you defend your design choices, stay open to feedback and support change in a corporate setting.
- Knowledge of voice interaction design (turn-taking, latency, barge-in and silence handling) is a plus.
- Native or excellent Dutch, strong French (B2/C1) and fluent English.
