Mission Context


You will join the Storytelling Chapter within the Marketing & Communication department, working in a multidisciplinary Agile team (Squad) dedicated to a specific client segment.

You will report to the Chapter Lead Storytelling and collaborate closely with MarCom Managers, the Digital Marketing Expert (DME), and the Content Strategist.

This long-term assignment aims to put content at the heart of marketing communication strategy.


Responsibilities


  • Transform briefings into high-value content aligned with content pillars and business objectives.
  • Produce and optimize content for all channels: articles, e-mails, social media, videos, scripts, UX copy, etc.
  • Consistently integrate SEO/GEO principles (primary and secondary keywords, editorial structuring, continuous optimization via Semrush & Surfer SEO).
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, writing, and multichannel adaptation while ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with audiovisual experts to adapt stories into videos and short formats.
  • Work in tandem with a Dutch-speaking storyteller to translate and adapt content accurately.
  • Suggest optimizations based on content performance (traffic, engagement, CTR, SOV, conversions).
  • Contribute to the Content Factory: share best practices, produce reusable assets, and feed the digital content repository.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for all content (commercial communications, anti-greenwashing, etc.).
  • Actively participate in the SEO/GEO Community of Practice (CoP) and support skill development of other storytellers.


Required Skills & Qualifications





Languages:

  • French: native, expert-level writing
  • Dutch: strong, able to translate/adapt texts and participate in meetings
  • English: good, able to translate/adapt texts and use English sources


Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Languages, Literature, or equivalent experience


Experience: Minimum 6 years in storytelling / SEO/GEO copywriting


Technical Skills (Mandatory):


  • Excellent editorial skills and clarity of writing
  • Ability to write engaging multichannel content (social media, e-mails, articles, web pages, scripts, white papers, case studies, etc.)
  • Proficient in using AI tools for research, writing, and translation


Technical Skills (Preferred):


  • Understanding of marketing funnels and customer journeys
  • Ability to interpret performance metrics (engagement, reach, CTR, SOV)


Professional Background (Mandatory):


  • Proven experience in SEO/GEO copywriting and content optimization (Semrush & Surfer SEO)
  • Journalistic background or experience creating thought leadership / technical content for a wider audience


Professional Background (Preferred):


  • Experience in the financial or banking sector
