Intro
We are looking for an experienced Design Coach to support and strengthen our Design Chapter. In this role, you will play a key part in helping the organization evolve toward a truly customer-centric approach by coaching designers and improving design practices across teams.
Working closely with the Design Chapter Owner and business stakeholders, you will contribute to building a strong design culture and ensuring high-quality, user-centered outcomes across squads and tribes. As part of the Design Operations team, you will help enhance design maturity, optimize processes, and empower designers to deliver meaningful and impactful experiences.
Responsibilities
As a Design Coach, you will:
- Support the Design Chapter Owner in bringing the chapter vision to life by addressing design challenges and fostering collaboration within the design community.
- Coach and guide designers and squads throughout the end-to-end design process, from concept development and prototyping to user testing and delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and mentoring activities to elevate design maturity across squads and the wider organization.
- Advocate for and promote user-centered design practices, helping to shape and strengthen the design culture.
- Collaborate closely with guild leads, Design Ops members, and multidisciplinary teams to improve design performance and ensure strong business impact.
- Contribute to improving design quality, processes, and ways of working within the Design Chapter and across product teams.
Experience & Competences

8+ years of experience in design, combining hands-on design work with coaching or mentoring responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end design process within complex, agile, corporate environments.
- Experience across different design disciplines (UX, service design, business design, or similar) is highly valued.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex design challenges.
- Proven experience in facilitating workshops, training sessions, and collaborative design activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- A strong passion for user-centered design, design thinking, and experimentation with modern tools and methodologies.
- Fluent in English, and fluent in French or Dutch, with at least a good understanding of the second national language.
