Mission Context:


According to Scrum methodology, the Agile Product Owner represents both stakeholders and the voice of the customer, capturing their expectations, preferences, and needs. Along with the Scrum Master and the Development Team, they embody the Scrum Team.

The Agile Product Owner is responsible for expressing and prioritizing product needs via the Product Backlog and ensuring the Development Team has a clear understanding of the product, maintaining consistency throughout each Sprint.


Function Description:


Design Phase & Project Methodology:

  • Build the product’s big picture, including the roadmap, and translate it for the Development Team.
  • Clarify needs and draft key functional specifications according to Agile methodology.
  • Plan iterations and define priorities to ensure proper content delivery.
  • Continuously prioritize business needs in the Product Backlog.
  • Align all stakeholders on the product vision and delivery.

Project Follow-Up & Support:

  • Initiate priority management and ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (retrospectives, demos, test labs, etc.).
  • Make decisions or arbitrate on delivered functionalities.
  • Adjust and follow up on the Sprint Backlog in real-time.

Language Requirements:


  • Dutch / French / English: Sound knowledge of English plus at least one local language.

Education & Certification:


  • Not mandatory.


Travel & Telework:


  • Expectation: 50% on-site & 50% remote work.


Required Experience / Knowledge:


  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.


Business Experience (mandatory):


  • Knowledge of BNPP Group and department’s business environment.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies.
  • Budget & Project Management experience.


Technical Experience:


  • Not mandatory / preferable.
