Product Owner


A leading HR services organization is looking for a Product Owner to bridge the gap between business and IT and drive the evolution of digital platforms and applications. In this role, you will translate customer and business needs into concrete platform improvements and features. You will manage the product backlog, define the roadmap of the platform, and ensure that digital solutions deliver maximum value to both users and the organization.


Responsibilities


Customer Needs & Business Translation


  • Identify and analyze internal and external customer needs.
  • Translate business requirements into clear IT features and product improvements.
  • Maintain and prioritize the platform backlog.
  • Define and manage the product roadmap for the platform.


Product Development & Delivery


  • Ensure correct implementation of platform features in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Safeguard the quality, consistency, and performance of digital products.
  • Monitor product results and adjust priorities based on data and insights.


Coordination & Collaboration


  • Work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Coordinate initiatives across teams and facilitate collaboration.


Documentation & User Support


  • Provide documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Communicate clearly about product updates and releases.


Continuous Improvement & Innovation


  • Actively collect feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and prioritize a small projects budget within the platform domain.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and agile thinking.


Experience & Competences


Must-Haves


  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Strong affinity with business analysis and functional analysis.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


Nice to Have


  • Technical understanding of software development and IT systems.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience working in SAFe environments.
