Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Manager
Introduction
Our client, a leading international FMCG company with a portfolio of iconic consumer brands, is looking for an experienced Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Manager to strengthen its Northern Europe Media & Digital team on a temporary basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the company's owned e-commerce channels across the Benelux region. You will oversee the complete digital commerce funnel, combining commercial thinking with data-driven optimization to enhance online performance and customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the e-commerce trading strategy, including portfolio management, pricing, promotional planning, and activation calendars.
- Drive online growth by optimizing the full e-commerce funnel, from traffic acquisition to conversion and customer retention.
- Continuously improve the end-to-end customer journey across website, content, CRM, and post-purchase experience.
- Lead the execution of digital commerce initiatives, including content optimization, SEO, website navigation, and digital shelf management.
- Monitor commercial performance through KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CLV, conversion rate, and revenue growth, translating insights into actionable improvements.
- Manage digital marketing investments to maximize return on investment.
- Collaborate closely with Brand, Media, IT, E-commerce, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of digital initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for experimentation, optimization, and continuous performance improvement.
Experience & Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or commercial roles, ideally within an FMCG environment.
- Proven experience managing and growing direct-to-consumer or e-commerce businesses.
- Strong understanding of digital commerce KPIs such as CRO, AOV, CLV, ROAS, and conversion optimization.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into commercial actions.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong communication skills in English; Dutch and/or French are considered a plus.
