Customer Journey Expert – Digital Sales (Growth Area)


Introduction


We are looking for a Customer Journey Expert (CJE) Digital Sales to join a Growth Area focused on accelerating digital and mobile sales performance. In this role, you will combine data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and customer-centric thinking to optimise digital journeys and drive measurable growth across the full sales funnel—from click to conversion.


You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where marketing, data, UX, and technology teams collaborate closely to continuously improve digital performance and customer experience.


Responsibilities


  • Drive and optimise digital and mobile sales funnels with a strong focus on conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and measurable business impact
  • Analyse customer journeys and performance data to identify growth opportunities and friction points
  • Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and other experimentation approaches (e.g. personalisation, SEO, traffic optimisation)
  • Translate customer insights and behavioural data into improved digital journeys and sales experiences
  • Contribute to SEO and organic traffic growth strategies, ensuring strong content and discoverability performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional squads (marketing, data, UX, tech, and product) to implement improvements end-to-end
  • Take ownership of initiatives from idea to execution, ensuring follow-up and scaling of successful experiments
  • Continuously challenge existing approaches and propose innovative growth opportunities


Experience & Competences


  • Strong experience in digital sales, growth marketing, or digital product optimisation (approx. 8+ years, medior+)
  • Solid understanding of digital funnel dynamics, CRO principles, and key performance drivers in online sales environments
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and dashboards to drive decisions and actions
  • Hands-on experience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, personalisation, optimisation cycles)
  • Knowledge of SEO and organic traffic growth principles
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate insights into improved digital experiences
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, agile environments
  • Proactive, ownership-driven attitude with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement
  • Curious and up to date with digital trends and emerging technologies
  • Languages: English + French or Dutch
