Scrum Master – Expert



Mission Context:

The Scrum Master is the key reference point for projects following the Agile framework, specifically Scrum. This role ensures the Project Team fully understands and applies the methodology to maximize project outcomes while protecting the team from internal and external distractions. The Scrum Master also coaches the team, business lines, and stakeholders, clarifying effective interactions and guiding project delivery.



Function Description:



Project Follow-up:


  • Act as delivery owner across X-squads.
  • Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other relevant meetings.
  • Schedule and monitor key steps of the Scrum methodology.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of Scrum practices and support the team in overcoming obstacles.
  • Assist the Product Owner with managing the Product Backlog.
  • Support the team in delivering the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, and other key outputs.
  • Track team capacity and velocity metrics to support planning and monitor progress.


Project Methodology & Coaching:


  • Coach, mentor, and challenge the Project Team to foster continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate gradual self-organization and help the team face challenges.
  • Remove barriers to team effectiveness and shield the team from outside distractions.
  • Act as an Agile ambassador within the company.
  • Report to leadership on the deployment and effectiveness of Scrum methodology across projects.
  • Manage risks and issues proactively.


Language Requirements:


  • Strong command of English and at least one local language.

Required Experience / Knowledge:


  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.


Technical Experience (Mandatory):


  • Expertise in Agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Understanding of automated unit testing, functional testing, and continuous integration tools.
  • Solid knowledge of software development and project management methodologies.
  • Ability to combine Agile coaching with ownership of delivery.
  • Experience in large organizations and managing dependencies in complex environments.
  • Experience working with multicultural teams.


Business Experience (Mandatory):


  • Expert knowledge of Agile methodology and techniques (e.g., Kanban).
  • Experience managing multiple dependencies in complex organizations, preferably banking.
  • Strong Agile mindset.


Soft Skills:


  • Team player with experience in multicultural environments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to knowledge sharing.
