We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager with expertise in cloud services to lead and manage our IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of cloud-based systems, networks, and applications. This role will focus on optimizing the company’s IT services, enhancing cloud adoption strategies, and supporting business goals through efficient IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of IT best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cloud Strategy & Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the organization's business goals and security standards. Manage multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
· IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s IT infrastructure, including cloud-based applications, networks, storage, and virtualized environments.
· Team Leadership: Manage and mentor IT administrators, providing guidance, support, and fostering continuous improvement. Drive performance reviews, training, and career development.
· Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud services are secure, compliant, and meet industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001). Implement robust security protocols and disaster recovery procedures.
· Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud service usage and spending, identifying opportunities to optimize cost efficiency and resource allocation without sacrificing performance or security.
· Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales and shared services, to deliver cloud-based solutions that meet operational requirements.
· Incident Management & Support: Oversee troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis for cloud infrastructure issues. Manage cloud-based support tools and services to ensure timely resolution of IT problems.
· Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud service providers and other external IT vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and issues are escalated appropriately.
· Innovation & Research: Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing, evaluating new tools, solutions, and techniques to continuously improve the organization’s IT systems.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
· At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years focused on cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
· Strong experience in managing cloud infrastructure and cloud-based applications, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling cloud resources.
· Proven expertise in cloud security, cost management, and disaster recovery planning.
· Solid understanding of networking, operating systems, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
· Deep knowledge of API design principles (REST, GraphQL, SOAP), API gateways, versioning, and security (OAuth, JWT)
· Expertise in IAM systems, SSO protocols, security architecture, cloud identity services, and API integrations
· Experience in managing IT teams, including task delegation, performance management, and career development.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
· Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, automation, and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible).
· Knowledge of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
· Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) frameworks and practices.
· Previous experience in a leadership role with budget and resource management responsibilities.
