NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a financial services organization to identify a Workday Financials Integration Specialist to support enterprise integration efforts across finance systems and third-party platforms. This role will focus on designing, building, and maintaining integrations that ensure accurate and efficient data flow across the organization. Location and work model details will be discussed during the interview process.
This position is ideal for a technically strong Workday professional who can operate independently, partner with finance and IT stakeholders, and deliver reliable integration solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Required:
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience developing Workday integrations with a focus on Financials
• Strong experience with Workday tools such as Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors
• Experience working with Workday Financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and financial data models
• Ability to troubleshoot and support integration issues to ensure data accuracy and continuity
• Experience working with APIs and web services (REST/SOAP)
Preferred:
• Experience developing XSLT transformations and calculated fields within Workday
• Background supporting integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Experience automating financial processes such as journal entries or invoice processing
• Familiarity with integration security and audit requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
