NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a client in Coppell, TX! Our client is seeking a B2B Collections Specialist on a direct hire basis.



Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of B2B accounts, performing collection activities on past-due invoices through phone, email, and written communication.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies by partnering with internal departments such as accounting, billing, and customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity and provide regular updates on aging reports, payment status, and risk accounts.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in B2B collections, accounts receivable, or a related accounting role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to maintain professional client relationships while collecting past-due balances.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, along with strong attention to detail.
