Collections Analyst I (AR Specialist)

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a leading distributor of wireless voice, data, and video solutions in Eastern Dallas County to find a Collections Analyst I. An ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and communication skills to support accounts receivable activities, follow up on past due invoices, and help maintain positive customer relationships. This individual enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is eager to grow within finance and accounting operations.

Required:

• Associate’s degree OR equivalent professional experience | Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years experience

• 1+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, billing, or customer service

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and customers

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred:

• Experience with ERP or accounting software

• Exposure to B2B collections or invoicing environments

• Experience supporting reporting or reconciliation tasks
