NextStep Recruiting is partnering exclusively with a leading, global IT solutions provider to identify a Sr. HR Analyst for their Dallas-based HR team. This is a high-visibility replacement role where the right person will step into a critical position supporting HR operations and employee services. This opportunity is best suited for an up-and-coming HR professional (3–5 years of experience) who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to grow into a career path focused on HR operations and Workday enhancements.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, fielding inquiries on policies, procedures, and HR programs with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
- Partner with internal managers to ensure payroll timesheet approvals, commission approvals, and related workflows are completed (including follow-up as needed)
- Collaborate with Compliance on labor law updates and communicate changes effectively across the organization
- Manage a third-party vendor that oversees immigration paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timely renewals
- Provide reporting and analysis through Workday and Excel, running VLOOKUPs daily to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Support HRIS users with technical troubleshooting and system guidance
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes, recommending workflow and system enhancements
- Handle employee life cycle data, onboarding, HR documentation, and recordkeeping with precision and confidentiality
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of HR/HRIS experience (minimum 1 year with Workday, ideally 2+)
- Strong Excel skills (must be confident writing VLOOKUPs daily)
- Tech-savvy with an interest in driving Workday enhancements and HR process improvement
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of confidentiality (critical to success in this role)
- Approachable, empathetic, and able to balance responsiveness with persistence when following up with managers
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and capable of handling repetitive requests with professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
