Trueline's client, a leading engineering and construction firm, is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing construction division in Texas. This role will involve managing heavy civil projects across the West and Central states, with responsibilities ranging from $5M to $75M projects.
What You'll Do as the Project Manager:
• Oversee multiple construction projects at various stages, including hard bid, CM, and Design-Build
• Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation
• Coordinate with supervisory personnel, clients, and design professionals to resolve issues and ensure project success
• Implement safety policies and quality control programs
• Provide mentorship to junior team members
• Review and negotiate contracts, prepare budget estimates, and track project costs
• Coordinate with design engineers on constructability reviews and final designs
• Manage project closeout and warranty processes
You'll Succeed as the Project Manager if you Have:
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5-8 years of experience managing heavy civil design-build projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in project management software and construction methodologies
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed
