Trueline's client, a global law firm specializing in insurance and liability matters, is seeking an experienced Coverage Associate to join their Miami or Fort Lauderdale office and grow their first party coverage team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-respected firm advising multinational insurers and corporations on complex insurance matters.

What You'll Do as the Coverage Associate:

• Provide legal counsel on first party insurance coverage matters

• Handle insurance defense and insurance coverage litigation

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents

• Take and defend depositions

• Appear in state and federal court proceedings

• Manage a caseload and handle all aspects of litigation

You'll Succeed as the Coverage Associate if you Have:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience

• Licensed to practice law in Florida

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities

• Solid first party insurance coverage and property experience

• Prior case management experience in state/federal courts (preferred)
