Senior Personal Injury Associate Attorney - Join a Thriving Team in New York, NY

Are you a seasoned Senior Personal Injury Associate Attorney with a passion for advocating on behalf of the injured? Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload (80-90 cases).
  • Expertise: Solid understanding of personal injury law, tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, and NY CPLR. Familiarity with SmartAdvocate is a plus.
  • Bar Membership: New York State Bar membership and a state license to practice law are mandatory.
  • Skills: Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills. Proficiency with computers and legal software.
  • Trial Experience: Conducted over 75 depositions; trial experience being a plus.
  • Attributes: Diligent, responsible, and work stability. A self-starter ready to work and grow within the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Oversee a caseload from inception to trial, ensuring seamless progress and exceptional outcomes.
  • Depositions and Trials: Conduct thorough depositions and work up cases for trial, leveraging your expertise in New York CPLR and litigation.
  • Client Communication: Keep clients apprised regularly, delivering strategic legal representation and achieving maximum settlements.
  • Settlement Negotiation: Settle cases efficiently, always advocating passionately on behalf of the injured.

Work Schedule:

  • Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with an 8-hour shift.
  • Location: In-office role requiring reliable commuting or planning to relocate before starting work. Preferably, candidates should live within 35 minutes of the office.
