SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Thorough grasp of relevant tax laws encompassing corporate, personal, and partnership tax compliance and planning.
• Experience in preparing financial statements for compilations/reviews.
• Proficiency in preparing complex individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns.
• Participation in the tax return process and reviews.
• Ability to conduct various financial analyses, including but not limited to balance sheets and income statements.
• Team-oriented attitude, prioritizing client satisfaction and meticulous work quality.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills, adept at handling multiple tasks.

Requirement:

• Familiarity with CCH ProSystems FX Tax, QuickBooks, Excel, and/or RIA Checkpoint is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Tax within public accounting with specialization in tax preparation (6+ years in public accounting preferred)
• Understanding of relevant tax legislation; corporate, personal, and partnership tax compliance and planning; experience with training, mentoring, and reviewing
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required, with a preference for a Master’s degree or ongoing pursuit.
• CPA license is mandatory or in progress.

WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL

• Complete comprehensive new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
• Participate in introductory training sessions.
• Begin familiarizing yourself with our tax software and undergo a QuickBooks refresher.
• Initiate networking with Supervisors, Managers, and Partners to expand your internal connections.
