Trueline's client, a quickly growing and dynamic LA personal injury firm, seeks a highly skilled Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Managing Attorney to join their team and lead their pre-litigation department.


As the Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney, you will oversee a team of paralegals and guide personal injury cases from intake through resolution before litigation. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of legal representation, setting case strategy, and mentoring your team.


The right candidate will have a mix of personal injury and management experience and be eager to continue building their career.


What You'll Do as the Pre-Lit Managing Attorney:

  • Oversee and manage the firm’s pre-litigation team, ensuring that cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Direct and strategize case development from intake through settlement.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance, helping the pre-lit team develop strong case management skills.
  • Review case files, ensuring compliance with firm procedures, legal standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies, ensuring optimal client outcomes.
  • Maintain knowledge of personal injury law, including relevant legal precedents and changes in legislation.
  • Report on department performance and case progress to firm leaders.


You'll Succeed as the Pre-Lit Managing Attorney If You Have:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California.
  • Outstanding reputation in the legal community.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience handling settlement negotiations with insurance companies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a large caseload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to client service and achieving favorable outcomes.
