Trueline's client, a leading PNW law firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Attorney to join their team in Portland. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable firm that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and provides resources for professional growth and community service.


What You'll Do as the Tax Attorney:

- Provide day-to-day counseling to the firm's clients on state and federal income tax matters

- Structure sophisticated transactions in a wide variety of industry sectors

- Work on significant projects with a successful team

- Attract and grow a book of business utilizing the firm's full-service bi-coastal platform

- Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a collegial office environment


You'll Succeed as the Tax Attorney if you Have:

- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law

- LL.M. in Tax

- 5+ years of income tax experience

- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills

- A client-service approach and exceptional communication skills

- Enthusiasm to work with and build a diverse team

- Ability to manage significant individual responsibilities

- Book of business (preferred but not required)
