Trueline's client, a leading national insurance and litigation law firm based in the United States, is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney to join their team in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious firm that represents global insurers and Fortune 500 companies.
What You'll Do as the Insurance Coverage Attorney:
• Represent and advise insurance carriers in the US and abroad on the scope of coverage for General Liability, Excess, Reinsurance, and some Commercial First Party lines
• Interpret policy forms and render coverage analyses
• Review and rewrite coverage forms and endorsements to address emerging liabilities
• Serve as monitoring counsel, providing analysis and evaluation of claim exposure
• Monitor the progress and cost of the defense
• Identify potential coverage issues
You'll Succeed as the Insurance Coverage Attorney if you Have:
• Multi-jurisdictional coverage experience
• License in Illinois, California or New York (a plus)
• 4+ years of experience in GL, Excess, and Reinsurance coverage analysis
• Superior writing skills and a highly analytical mind
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach
