Health Care Attorney - Thriving Practice in Minneapolis

Responsibilities:

  • Structure and negotiate health care transactions
  • Offer strategic advice on regulatory and compliance issues
  • Implement various contractual arrangements
  • Counsel clients on a wide range of legal matters affecting the healthcare industry, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse, HIPAA, and state privacy laws.
  • Handle transactional matters involving health care organizations.



Key Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in health care transactional and regulatory counseling
  • Admission to the Minnesota bar.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, work effectively within a team, and communicate directly with clients and third-party advisors.
  • Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Preferred but not required: a Master's in Public Health, Health Administration, or a related graduate degree.
  • Experience in an AmLaw 200 firm or a complex boutique law firm (huge plus)
