Trueline's client, a legacy medical malpractice defense firm located in Uniondale, NY, is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney to join their team. What You'll Do as the Medical Malpractice Attorney:

• Work collaboratively with senior litigators to develop litigation strategy for defending medical malpractice actions

• Draft and review pleadings, discovery materials, memos, briefs, and other legal documents

• Analyze medical records

• Represent clients in court proceedings

• Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings, and other litigation activities  

• Interact with medical experts

• Conduct legal and medical research and analysis

• Draft motions

• Work cooperatively with colleagues

• Interact with clients

You'll Succeed as the Medical Malpractice Attorney if you Have:

• Admission to practice law in New York

• 3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice/healthcare litigation

• Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills

• Ability to interact professionally with clients and earn their confidence  

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects 

• Strong problem-solving skills
