Trueline's client, a quickly growing and dynamic LA personal injury firm, seeks a Litigation Paralegal to join their team in downtown LA. This is an opportunity to join an energetic and rewarding firm with ample growth opportunities for career-driven paralegals.


What You'll Do as the Litigation Paralegal:

  • Assist attorneys in managing personal injury litigation cases, including gathering and organizing client records, evidence, and documents.
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and gather information to support case development.
  • Maintain litigation calendars and deadlines to ensure timely filings.
  • Prepare documents for depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with settlement negotiations and preparation of settlement documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including file management and scheduling.


You'll Succeed as a Litigation Paralegal If You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation procedures and relevant laws.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and case management software (e.g., Clio, LexisNexis, Westlaw).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage a large caseload and handle confidential information with discretion.
