The Opportunity
We’re seeking a President/COO to serve as the company’s #2 operator and enterprise integrator—owning day-to-day performance across Sales, Operations, Supply/Logistics, and Commercial Operations. This leader sits above the Chief Sales Officer and partners closely with the CEO, CMO, and CFO to translate strategy into disciplined execution, scale the org, and position the company for sustained growth and strategic optionality.
Scope of Responsibility
· Lead and integrate Sales (national/regional chains, distributor management, on-premise/off-premise), Operations (production, planning, logistics), and Commercial Operations (revenue management, S&OP, analytics).
· Directly manage and develop senior leaders (e.g., CSO, VP Ops/Supply, Head of Commercial Ops/Rev Mgmt, East/West Sales VPs, Chain leadership).
· Own the operating rhythm: S&OP, forecast accuracy (±5%), OTIF, inventory turns, trade ROI, and market-level execution dashboards.
· Translate brand strategy into storefront outcomes: distribution, facings, velocity, display compliance, pricing/promo architecture.
· Strengthen distributor performance via JBPs, incentive design, capability building, and accountability to plan.
· Partner with CEO and CFO on annual plan, P&L stewardship, capital allocation, and risk management; prepare board-ready materials.
· Ensure cross-functional excellence with Marketing (brand/activation), Finance (margin/mix), and Supply (capacity, quality, cost).
· Build scalable processes and leadership bench; recruit, coach, and performance-manage a high-accountability culture.
What You’ve Done
· 20+ years total experience with meaningful time in beer/bev-alc and multi-market scale; supplier-side leadership required; distributor-side exposure a plus (not primary).
· Enterprise operator with demonstrated success overseeing both Sales and Operations with full or substantial P&L accountability.
· Proven national chain wins and depth building; expert distributor management; playbooks for resets, pricing/promo, and retail media.
· Built and led multi-layer orgs (East/West structures; chain centers; revenue management; S&OP/Commercial Ops).
· Data-driven decision-maker with strong financial acumen (mix, margin, trade economics, COGS, working capital).
· High-EQ culture builder; founder-friendly; balances entrepreneurial speed with institutional rigor; known for raising the talent bar.
