Our client seeks a Sales/Estimating Engineering Lead for their new controls and electrical team. This hybrid role combines technical sales support and project estimation for material handling systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Qualifying opportunities, shaping solutions with engineering input, and developing technical content for prospective customers
- Building and maintaining scalable estimating tools, quantifying controls and electrical engineering costs, and developing libraries for repeatable project elements
- Translating design concepts into labor, material, and commissioning estimates, and collaborating with engineers on resource allocation
- Refining estimation accuracy through feedback, developing standardized SOPs, and contributing to a scalable quotation management system
- Presenting technical solutions and estimates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Aligning estimates with project execution capacity and market-driven pricing models
- Creating quote packages, scope documents, and pricing summaries for internal and customer review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in automation or material handling systems
- Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience with estimation tools and technical presentations

This is a remote role with a base salary of $90-120k
