Field Service Technician - This is a remote opportunity that requires extensive travel throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

Job Overview

Our client, a leading provider of industrial solutions, seeks a skilled Field Service Technician to join their team in Ohio. The successful candidate will provide maintenance, installation, start-up, and troubleshooting services for our client's products, prioritizing multiple tasks and developing strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute service, installation, and troubleshooting visits to customer sites
• Provide accurate and timely reports, billing documentation, and field notes
• Conduct surveys, map machines, and evaluate existing equipment
• Communicate with engineering teams regarding field modifications
• Support sales efforts by promoting products, service contracts, and spare parts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate degree with 2+ years of technical field experience, or high school diploma with 5+ years of technical field experience in an industrial or military setting
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with experience in paper machine applications a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as a team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work remotely from a home office

Travel Requirements
