Location: Cincinnati, OH; in office 5 days a week
Compensation: $100,000- $120,000 base + 10% annual bonus
About the Opportunity
Our client is one of the largest independent branded beverage producers in the U.S. Its household-name brands are sold in grocery stores, mass retailers and warehouse clubs nationwide. The company has nearly $1B in annual sales and more than 1,000 employees across a national network of manufacturing and distribution sites.
The company is moving from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics 365, and go-live is set for January 2028. They’re hiring an Application Support Analyst to help with the migration and then own day-to-day support of D365. This is not a development role. Development work is outsourced, so this person focuses on users, configuration, data and reporting.
What You’ll Do
- Take part in the AX 2012 to D365 migration, including pulling and validating legacy data from AX 2012
- Be the main application support resource for 100–120 business users on D365 and connected third-party systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues and error messages, and find the root cause
- Configure D365 to meet business and process needs
- Build reports and pull data for users with SQL, SSRS and Power BI
- Support XML, SSIS and flat-file integrations
- Work with outsourced development partners on enhancements and fixes
- Help support a 24/7 manufacturing environment (after-hours calls are rare)
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of experience supporting an ERP system
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Supply Chain Management (required)
- Experience with Dynamics AX 2012 R3 (strongly preferred)
- Ability to write SQL queries against Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with XML, SSIS, SSRS, flat-file integrations and Power BI or a similar reporting tool
- A self-starter who digs into problems and works well with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with remote teammates
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience in manufacturing, CPG or food and beverage
- Experience on an ERP implementation, upgrade or migration
- Some exposure to X++ or development (not required)
Why This Role
- A 10% bonus that has paid out at 100% for the past eight years
- You’ll learn D365 from the inside during a live migration
- A small, collaborative IT team where your work reaches the whole business
- A stable, growing company
