SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Quality Engineering Team

We are seeking an SDET to join a growing quality engineering team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within a bottom-up testing strategy where they are building coverage from the data and service layers up through the application layer. This candidate brings a strong, hands-on background in automated QA.

About the Role:

This SDET will work as part of a collaborative quality engineering team responsible for building and maintaining automated test coverage across the application, service, and data layers. The team follows a bottom-up testing strategy, meaning strong foundational coverage at the data and service layers is expected to support and inform testing further up the stack.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of applied, hands-on SDET experience
• Playwright + Typescript (preferred) 
• Core Java Proficiency (Test Automation Framework)
• Functional testing experience, with specific focus on Application layer and Service layer testing 
• QA certification preferred (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent) 
• Data layer testing experience preferred but not required

Nice to have: 

• Data layer testing experience (Postgres experience preferred)
• YAML
• AWS tooling: S3, Parquet files, Glue, and similar services 
• Github
• Github Copilot
• Azure Dev Ops Test Plans 
• Azure Dev Ops Pipelines
