Contract Project Manager - Medical Device

We're seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our client's R&D team on a contract basis. This remote-friendly opportunity is open to candidates based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage small-scale, short-term projects with defined scope and low complexity, such as mobile app development or product expansion
• Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and contingency strategies
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define project objectives, milestones, and success criteria
• Deliver project results that meet agreed-upon success parameters
• Assist senior colleagues on complex projects with research, analysis, and report drafting
• Develop status reports to keep stakeholders informed
• Lead a small project team and liaise with external consultants and stakeholders as needed
• Travel up to 20% of the time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with PMP Certification preferred
• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the medical device industry
• Strong analytical skills for complex systems and situations
• Ability to make timely decisions with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with adaptability in rapidly changing environments
• Strong influencing skills without direct authority
• Ability to assess project risks and develop prevention plans
• Experience with project management tools like MS Project, Jira, Jama, Polarion, OnePlan, or Oracle Agile PLM
