Position Overview: The Application Developer/Business Analyst will play a key role in collaborating with Project Managers and end-users to understand requirements and design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance systems. This role will be responsible for overseeing all phases of application development projects related to Infor ERP and support. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, user support skills, and business process acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Requirements Gathering and Design: Work closely with Project Managers and users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design scalable and maintainable systems that meet business needs and align with best practices.

·      Best Practices Implementation: Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance. Ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and industry best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

·      Application Support and Troubleshooting: Oversee application troubleshooting and problem resolution, providing guidance and support to development teams as needed. Identify and address technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.

·      User Training Support: Participate in developing user training material and conducting training sessions to educate end-users on application functionality and best practices. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to ensure successful adoption of new systems

Job Skills:

·      Experience with Infor ERP or related ERP experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

·      Hands-on application development in Python, SQL coding, and Integrations.

·      Experience developing web services and/or experience with APIs is preferred.

·      Experience analyzing/debugging daily production problems and supporting other users.

·      Database experience is preferred

·      Ability to interpret user requirements and develop highly functioning and efficient software is paramount to the success of IT.

·      Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.


EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE

·      4-year degree preferred, Associate or 5 years' experience required

·      Work history in Manufacturing or Distribution preferred.
