Product Manager – Global Sortation Platform (Industrial Automation / Material Handling)


Our client, a global leader in industrial automation and material handling solutions, is seeking a Product Manager to own a flagship high-speed sortation platform used by major e-commerce, parcel, and logistics organizations worldwide. This is a high-visibility individual-contributor role that blends technical depth, commercial leadership, and long-term product strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the global business owner for a market-leading automated sortation product
  • Drive both near-term product improvements (cost, efficiency, functionality) and the long-term innovation roadmap
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Operations, and Service teams
  • Translate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into product strategy
  • Build business cases, prioritize roadmap initiatives, and guide development decisions
  • Support product launches, sales enablement, and lifecycle management of the installed base
  • Influence stakeholders and senior leaders without direct authority

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Sales, or Operations within an industrial or technical environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in customer-facing or deal-driven settings
  • Persuasive, fact-based communicator who can drive alignment across functions
  • Background in material handling, automation, manufacturing, or other industrial sectors preferred
  • Comfortable with field engagement and 25–30% travel (some international)

Compensation & Location

  • Base Salary: 140,000-165,000
  • Incentives: Performance-based variable compensation targeting 20–50% of base
