Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced JFrog Administrator / DevOps Engineer to own and operate our enterprise Artifactory and Xray platform. This role is responsible for repository architecture, access management, security scanning enforcement, and CI/CD integration — ensuring artifacts are securely managed and fully traceable from source commit to production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain JFrog Artifactory, including local, remote, and virtual repositories across package types (Maven, npm, NuGet, Docker, etc.)
  • Manage tenant-level settings such as SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, and access token policies
  • Define and enforce user access, permissions, and automation tokens for CI/CD pipelines
  • Administer JFrog Xray for vulnerability scanning, SBOM management, policy/watch configuration, and build-blocking security rules
  • Integrate Artifactory and Xray with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD
  • Design and maintain build/release pipelines supporting Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS, and serverless environments
  • Monitor storage usage, implement retention/cleanup policies, and manage platform performance
  • Collaborate with Architects, Security, and Operations teams to improve DevSecOps processes
  • Troubleshoot platform and pipeline issues across cross-functional teams
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on administrative experience with JFrog Artifactory and Xray
  • Prior experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
  • Enterprise-scale CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with release management and build tools (Maven, npm, Quickbuild, Jenkins, JBoss, IIS)
  • Container orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Strong scripting skills — PowerShell, Bash, and Groovy preferred; familiarity with Batch, C#, or Java a plus
  • Experience integrating applications via APIs and troubleshooting integration points
  • Experience with source control systems (Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, TFVC; awareness of GitLab/Bitbucket)
  • Working knowledge of Windows IIS and Red Hat Linux/JBoss environments
  • Database scripting/query experience (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple SDLC roles (Developer, Tester, Architect, Security Analyst, Infrastructure Admin)
  • Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Nagios)
  • Experience with other binary repository managers (e.g., Sonatype Nexus)
  • Automated unit testing frameworks (JUnit, NUnit)
  • Familiarity with software security best practices
