Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced JFrog Administrator / DevOps Engineer to own and operate our enterprise Artifactory and Xray platform. This role is responsible for repository architecture, access management, security scanning enforcement, and CI/CD integration — ensuring artifacts are securely managed and fully traceable from source commit to production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain JFrog Artifactory, including local, remote, and virtual repositories across package types (Maven, npm, NuGet, Docker, etc.)
- Manage tenant-level settings such as SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, and access token policies
- Define and enforce user access, permissions, and automation tokens for CI/CD pipelines
- Administer JFrog Xray for vulnerability scanning, SBOM management, policy/watch configuration, and build-blocking security rules
- Integrate Artifactory and Xray with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD
- Design and maintain build/release pipelines supporting Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS, and serverless environments
- Monitor storage usage, implement retention/cleanup policies, and manage platform performance
- Collaborate with Architects, Security, and Operations teams to improve DevSecOps processes
- Troubleshoot platform and pipeline issues across cross-functional teams
- Participate in on-call rotation
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on administrative experience with JFrog Artifactory and Xray
- Prior experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
- Enterprise-scale CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions)
- Experience with release management and build tools (Maven, npm, Quickbuild, Jenkins, JBoss, IIS)
- Container orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Strong scripting skills — PowerShell, Bash, and Groovy preferred; familiarity with Batch, C#, or Java a plus
- Experience integrating applications via APIs and troubleshooting integration points
- Experience with source control systems (Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, TFVC; awareness of GitLab/Bitbucket)
- Working knowledge of Windows IIS and Red Hat Linux/JBoss environments
- Database scripting/query experience (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple SDLC roles (Developer, Tester, Architect, Security Analyst, Infrastructure Admin)
- Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Nagios)
- Experience with other binary repository managers (e.g., Sonatype Nexus)
- Automated unit testing frameworks (JUnit, NUnit)
- Familiarity with software security best practices
