Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:
Coordinate, review, and complete structural design calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports.
Perform linear and non-linear structural analyses, bridge inspections, load ratings, and assessment reports.
Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for bridges and box culverts.
Ensure quality assurance and quality control, and compliance with quality standards.
Coordinate and communicate with clients, technicians, engineers, sub-consultants, and contractors.
Participate in planning, cost development, management, and scheduling for assigned projects.
Serve as a project engineer or project manager on various projects based on experience.
Involve public presentations, including reports, graphics, and other visual materials.
Participate in project interviews as required for a Structural Project Engineer.
Qualifications:
Must hold a Structural Engineer license in Illinois.
Experience designing structural projects in Illinois according to IDOT standards is essential.
Must be a Professional Engineer licensed in Illinois or eligible to obtain the license.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
