Premier luxury hotel property in San Francisco is currently seeking a passionate, methodical, well-ordered, intricately creative Beverage Manager to support our talented and innovative F&B team. This role isn’t just about managing a bar; it’s about curating a progressive, eco-conscious beverage program that reflects the vibrant spirit of Northern California. -This role reports to the Director of Outlets.

-Relocation is offered. 

-Must be authorized to work in the US


About you:

  • Passionate about luxury hospitality and service with a minimum of 2 year of similar work experience and 3 years of having managed a cocktail restaurant and bar.
  • Must have experience with executing creative cocktail recipes while researching the latest trends in cocktails, beer, spirits, and wine.
  • Experienced in scheduling, minimizing labor costs, and streamlining processes.
  • Passionate about training staff, a relationship builder, a listener, a voice of reason, and a leader.
  • Experienced in an administrative role (inventory, payroll, cost control) strong organization and technical skills, ability to multi-task and a team player.
  • Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation. Able to work long hours. Must be energetic, passionate, and dedicated.


REQUIREMENTS: 


  • Previous Bar Manager & Bartender experience
  • 5-star Hospitality/Luxury Restaurant sector experience preferred
  • Basic level wine knowledge. Sommelier certification is a plus!
  • High level cocktail knowledge. Must be able to create, cost and execute a beverage concept.
  • Must be able to drive enthusiasm within bar teams
  • Understanding of bar design and flow
  • Comfortable critiquing & analyzing financial documents such as profit and loss statements
  • Analyze multiple outlet inventories on a monthly basis to identify red flags, miscounts, overages and errors
  • Excellent Verbal Communication skills
