DESCRIPTION:


We're searching for an exceptional and collaborative Human Resources Director for our thriving restaurant group based in Miami. This is an in-office role, however, occasional travel to properties for delivery of onsite trainings and orientations will be necessary at times. 


Positioned as a strategic partner to the business, this role will ensure people strategies are aligned with both day to day operations as well as long term business goals. The HR Director will collaborate with senior management to enable organizational growth by proactively delivering sound human resource solutions. In this role, the individual will possess a strong business acumen and serve as a professional and positive leader in a consistently changing and dynamic environment.


The person we are looking for will have 5+ years of Director-level HR experience in the hospitality industry (hotels and/or restaurants), exude an innovative spirit and enjoy creating and implementing training programs. The ideal candidate will most often be described as outgoing and collaborative. 


Must be authorized to work in the US.


REQUIREMENTS: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hospitality-related HR with teams larger than 400 people.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws; preferably in Florida and New York.
  • Experience with hands on training and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics.
  • Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.
