DESCRIPTION: 


Fast-paced, international restaurant group is seeking an established and passionate General Manager with a strong technical background in fine dining (Michelin/Luxury hotel F&B preferred) to lead their flagship US location in San Francisco. The right candidate will be someone that loves service and F&B, has a depth of experience leading a high volume luxury/fine dining restaurant ($15MM-25MM). Seeking strong financial acumen, passion for hospitality, experience leading a large team (both salaried and hourly) and driving success in a challenging market. Candidates with Michelin and/or Forbes 5 star F&B experience is preferred.


Must be eligible to work in the US


Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership and direction (from the financials to the flow of the dining room)
  • Manage operations, administrative responsibilities, and finances of business
  • Recruit and train new hires on business practices
  • Drive development of employees
  • Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained


REQUIREMENTS: 


  • 5+ years as General Manager or higher. Experience as a Director of Operations is preferred.
  • 5+ years in fine dining restaurants and/or Forbes 5 star F&B settings
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Management or Hospitality preferred
  • Experience managing top line between $15mm to $20mm
  • Experience managing teams of up to 100 employees
  • Experience with CA labor laws in preferred but not required
  • Management and Customer Service experience 
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead
  • Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting 
  • Strong communications skills
