Summary_

We are seeking a Director of Test Engineering - Analog and Connectivity to lead the development of cutting-edge test solutions within our Analog and Connectivity Business Unit. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team and drive the test strategy for advanced mixed-signal products. As a Director, you will manage a team of test engineers responsible for delivering Automated Test Equipment (ATE) characterization, qualification, and sample test solutions on time and within budget. You will also mentor key leaders, align manufacturing strategies with partners, and contribute to business strategy from a test perspective.


Key Responsibilities_

  • Lead a team of test engineers in developing ATE test solutions for mixed-signal products.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of ATE characterization, qualification, and sample test solutions.
  • Develop and implement test strategies that align with business goals.
  • Mentor and develop test managers, fostering high-performance teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to align manufacturing strategies.
  • Evaluate resource needs and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Manage test hardware and test program development, with hands-on debugging of analog products.


Qualifications_

  • 12+ years of experience with ATE systems (Microflex & Advantest 93K preferred).
  • 5+ years of management experience leading high-performance teams.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Perl, Python, etc.
  • Experience with IC chip testing using tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop and mentor teams while setting priorities and test strategies.


Education_

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
