Join us as our Software Discipline Lead, where you will lead a dynamic team, shape technical strategies, and develop innovative robotics software for ground, aerial, and aquatic solutions.
As our Software Discipline Lead, you will be a key contributor to our robotics software systems, blending technical expertise with leadership to drive team growth and project success. You will guide software engineers, influence development processes, and collaborate across disciplines to achieve ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities_
· Lead and mentor software engineers, supporting their professional development through coaching, 1-on-1 sessions, appraisals, and career
guidance.
· Serve as the go-to technical expert for software, setting best practices and promoting continuous improvement within the team.
· Facilitate smooth collaboration across disciplines, assist project managers in team selection, and encourage synergies among projects and
engineers.
· Identify resource and skill needs, and participate in hiring new talent to support the development roadmap.
Qualifications_
· Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
· Over 10 years of experience in software engineering within product development and multidisciplinary teams.
· Proficiency in C++ and Python; experience with embedded systems, RTOS, ROS2, or Qt is a plus.
· Strong skills in software design and architecture.
· Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience mentoring teams or junior engineers.
· Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
