We have a rapid growth of our organization and to sustain this momentum, we are seeking a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. Our special effects products are fully conceived, developed, and assembled in-house. As a skillful and experienced embedded software expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological direction of our projects. You'll be at the forefront of developing new products, enhancing existing ones, and making strategic decisions that leverage your technical expertise. This role offers numerous challenging opportunities to apply your experience and knowledge to elevate our company and products to new heights.
Your Role_
- Lead the design and architecture of software applications, ensuring alignment with both functional and technical requirements.
- Drive the development process by leveraging your expertise in programming languages such as C to create high-quality, functional code.
- Oversee rigorous testing activities to ensure that software is fully functional, free of bugs, and meets high standards of quality and reliability.
- Continuously monitor, update, and optimize software performance to support customization and scalability.
- Accurately document code, technical specifications, and design decisions to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and streamline maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including Mechanical Engineers, Hardware Engineers, and Product Managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Take a leadership role in identifying new product opportunities and contribute to the innovation of our special effect technologies.
- Ensure software quality by adhering to best practices, conducting regular code reviews, and striving for efficiency and security in the development process.
Your Qualifications_
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technical Informatics, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in programming languages such as C or other relevant languages used in software application development.
- Deep understanding of software architecture and design, with experience in developing scalable and modular systems.
- Proven experience (approximately 5 years) in developing embedded systems applications and managing complex projects.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, with hands-on experience in executing comprehensive tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges, resolve bugs, and mentor others in doing the same.
