The Opportunity

This is not just a job — it’s a leadership role at the ground floor of our European expansion.

You’ll lead all recruitment delivery for our existing U.S. clients while driving new business across European markets. You’ll have full autonomy to shape, scale, and lead the Portugal operation — from hiring and training to strategy and execution.

What You’ll Do

🧠 Recruitment Leadership

• Own full-cycle recruitment for U.S.-based deep tech clients (search, interview, close)
• Deliver on high-impact roles across engineering, leadership, and emerging tech
• Act as a trusted partner to hiring teams and decision-makers

🌍 Business Development

• Identify and close new European clients in AI, aerospace, robotics, and more
• Represent Reach Velocity across the EU startup and tech ecosystem
• Build long-term client relationships and craft tailored recruitment solutions

🚀 Portugal Team Growth

• Hire, train, and lead a team of recruiters and talent specialists in Lisbon
• Build culture, processes, and performance standards from the ground up
• Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to define the vision for Europe

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience (agency or in-house)
• Track record delivering senior or technical hires in demanding sectors
• Strong business development or client-facing background
• Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and highly execution-focused
• Comfortable building teams, systems, and pipelines from scratch
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a bonus
