Location: Flexible within the U.S.
Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000 per year
About the Opportunity
We are working on behalf of an innovative company in the agriculture robotics industry, developing the next generation of semi-autonomous equipment designed to bring human-level perception and navigation to environments where traditional GPS-based systems fall short. This pioneering technology aims to optimize complex agricultural operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Job Overview
We’re recruiting a Senior Computer Vision - Deep Learning Engineer to design and deploy custom deep learning models for autonomous robotic systems. Ideal candidates have over two years of experience with production models, particularly in environments like autonomous driving or robotics.
Key Responsibilities
• Innovate and Deploy: Research, prototype, and implement advanced perception algorithms (e.g., 3D/2D detection, segmentation, classification) to drive autonomy in challenging environments.
• Optimize for Performance: Build and optimize large-scale deep learning models on GPU clusters, using techniques like quantization and pruning to enhance performance.
• Collaborate: Partner closely with software and testing teams for integration and optimization of models in both simulated and real-world scenarios.
• Specialization: Experience with multi-task modeling, ROS-2, and TensorRT is preferred.
Qualifications
• Deep Learning Background: Proven experience in computer vision or deep learning, with demonstrated application in real-world scenarios.
• Publications or Competitions: Notable contributions to major AI conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV) or distinguished performance in Kaggle competitions.
• Technical Skills: Skilled in architectures like YOLO, SSD, U-Net, and Vision transformers, with proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Education: Ph.D. or equivalent in fields such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
• Experience: At least two years of experience deploying deep learning models in production, preferably in robotics or autonomous driving.
• Programming: Proficient in C++ and Python, with a solid grasp of classical computer vision, including multiview geometry.
Why Apply?
