Full-Stack Software Engineer (On-site, SF)

We’re working with a rapidly scaling stealth-mode AI company in San Francisco that’s building fully autonomous digital workers—designed to own and execute specific jobs end-to-end. The team is composed of elite operators and ex-founders from unicorn startups, global tech firms, and top-tier strategy consultancies. Backed by top investors, they’re looking to grow the engineering team with world-class full-stack engineers.

This is not your typical IC role. If you’re someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves to ship fast, and wants to take extreme ownership over product and infrastructure—this could be your next adventure.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and own full-stack features from design to deployment across a modern TS/React/Next.js/Node.js stack

• Solve high-impact product problems with speed and autonomy

• Collaborate closely with founders and early team members

• Work on-site in San Francisco every day (this is critical)

✅ What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 4+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer or substantial work across both frontend and backend

(Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered)

• Strong TypeScript experience (required)

• Comfortable navigating both FE (Next.js, React) and BE (Node.js)

• Ownership mentality — someone who will pick up whatever is necessary to get the job done

• Track record of staying at companies for meaningful periods

• Able to compress 2-week sprints into 2-day delivery cycles

Bonus Points For:

• Experience at hypergrowth startups (e.g., 50 → 1000 employees)

• Founding engineer or technical founder experience

• Projects or achievements outside work (e.g., math olympiads, indie apps, etc.)

• Top-tier academic background

Soft Skills:

• Operates well in chaos and ambiguity

• Bias to action, thrives under pressure

• Deep desire to build fast and deliver real value

Avoid if:

• You’ve bounced around jobs yearly with no clear rationale

• Your experience is purely big tech with no startup/fast-paced exposure
