Lead Infrastructure Engineer – Onsite in San Francisco

💰 $250,000 – $300,000 base salary

We’re hiring a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-growth, venture-backed B2B SaaS company building mission-critical enterprise products. This is an individual contributor–first role with room to grow into technical leadership. 🚀 What You’ll Do

• Architect and scale infrastructure to support complex enterprise-grade deployments (on-prem, hybrid, cloud)
• Design and build distributed systems and APIs optimized for performance and reliability
• Contribute directly to the backend codebase and mentor peers
• Solve deployment and scaling challenges across diverse enterprise environments
• Partner with product and GTM teams to support Fortune 500 rollouts

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years post-graduation experience in software engineering, ideally at high-growth SaaS startups
• Strong backend infrastructure and distributed systems experience
• Track record of shipping products to enterprise / F500 customers
• Experience at top-tier VC-backed companies (Databricks, Scale AI, etc.)
• Background in enterprise deployment (on-prem / hybrid)
• CS degree from a top 15 school preferred
• Willing to work onsite 5 days/week in San Francisco

• You’ve had multiple short stints (<2 years)
• No CS degree or only bootcamp education
• More than 1 year in purely management roles
• Entire background in marketing/email tooling companies
