Position: Electrical Engineer - Embedded Electronics

Salary: $120,000 base

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in embedded electronics to join our client’s innovative team in Houston. The role involves the development and optimization of cutting-edge robotics solutions, focusing on PCB layout and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience and a drive for designing robust, efficient electronics systems for real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to design, test, and develop advanced embedded electronics for robotics applications.

• Create and optimize PCB layouts, schematics, and manage all aspects of circuit design.

• Work with microcontrollers, sensors, and motor control systems to enhance product functionality.

• Troubleshoot and optimize electrical designs for performance, reliability, and efficiency.

• Participate in new product development as well as improvements to existing systems.

• Collaborate with software and mechanical engineers to deliver fully integrated robotic solutions.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in embedded electronics and PCB layout design.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency in designing circuits with microcontrollers and other digital/analog components.

• Experience working with PCB design tools and electrical simulation software.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with battery management systems, DC motors, and motor controllers.

• Knowledge of cable harnessing and cable management for electrical systems.
