🚀 Hiring: Senior Deep Learning Engineer – $150k–$250k (San Jose) Min of 3 years post graduation experience.

We’re partnered with a pioneering ag-tech robotics company focused on semi-autonomous, off-road machines navigating GPS-challenged areas and complex terrain. They’re looking for a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to join the team and drive next-gen perception.

What you’ll work on:

• Build and deploy deep neural networks for camera / LiDAR / multi-sensor perception pipelines (semantic segmentation, instance detection, BEV modelling)

• Enhance localization & mapping by integrating visual and LiDAR features for GNSS-limited or GPS-denied environments

• Optimize real-time inference on embedded hardware (C++, CUDA, TensorRT)

• Collaborate with autonomy, planning, control teams to deliver clean perception-to-action systems

• Participate in field testing: collecting data, iterating on edge cases (dust, occlusion, changing lighting)

• Mentor junior engineers and shape the deep learning roadmap

What you should bring:

• 5+ years of experience in deep learning / computer vision for robotics or autonomous systems

• Strong Python + C++ experience; experienced in frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow

• Hands-on with LiDAR and camera fusion, BEV modelling, semantic segmentation, object detection

• Experience deploying models to embedded or real-time systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Xavier, or equivalent)

• Strong field or deployment experience (not just lab models) – rugged conditions a plus

• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate across hardware, autonomy, and ops teams
