As a Senior Electrical Engineer in our Mission Critical Facilities group, you'll be at the forefront of designing state-of-the-art, energy-efficient facilities, with a primary focus on data centers. This role offers the chance to lead a team, drive efficiencies, and witness your designs come to life.


Responsibilities:

Lead teams of designers and engineers, ensuring the quality of completed designs.

Prepare electrical construction drawings and specifications, collaborating closely with our in-house design teams.

Design power distribution systems, standby power systems, lighting, control systems, grounding, telecommunications, and fire alarm systems.

Serve as the primary client contact and provide technical leadership in client meetings.

Conduct site surveys to gather design information related to electrical systems.

Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for compliance with project requirements.

Provide field construction management support, including inspections and project close-out.

Adhere to corporate quality control processes for all electrical design work.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

Professional Engineer registration in the USA.

RCDD certification desired, or willingness to obtain within two years.

Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical power system design, preferably in consulting engineering.

Experience in designing data centers or mission-critical facilities is a plus.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with the ability to effectively communicate design intent.

Knowledge of short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies; familiarity with EasyPower or SKM Power Tools is advantageous.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
