Regulatory Engineer
Location: Onsite in Austin, Texas

We are looking for a Regulatory Engineer to lead compliance efforts for advanced hardware systems, ensuring products meet international standards and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global regulatory compliance strategies
- Obtain and maintain certifications (CE, UL, RoHS, WEEE, REACH, FCC)
- Work with engineering teams to integrate compliance into designs
- Manage external labs and certification processes
- Maintain technical files and documentation
- Track global regulations and implement updates proactively
- Support customer audits and regulatory inquiries
- Act as the in-house expert on safety, EMC, and environmental compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years regulatory or compliance engineering experience
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- Knowledge of product safety and environmental compliance for electronics or electromechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with CE marking, UL/IEC/EN standards, RoHS, REACH
- Experience with thermal or fluid-handling systems a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, startup-like environment
