Position: KDB+ Developer

Duration: Full Time - Direct Hire

Location: Manhattan, New York - hybrid and onsite options

Salary Range: $80-$220k (depends on experience; openings at all levels)

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience working with kdb+ development professionally or personally
• Strong client interaction skills

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Prior experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking
• Familiarity with additional programming languages (e.g., Python)
• Experience in cloud-based development
• Expertise in time series data solutions
• Background in a large financial institution or investment bank
• People management experience
• Experience as a technical lead for projects or sub-teams

Day to Day

• Collaborating with business users to gather requirements
• Developing, testing, supporting, and maintaining code for client applications
• Analyzing data and generating reports for clients
• Mentoring and providing guidance to junior developers
