Job description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair building systems, equipment, and facilities. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Repair plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Perform minor carpentry, painting, and repair work
- Assist with facility setup and cleanup as needed
- Monitor building conditions and report major repair needs
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work independently
- Good communication and time management skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
