Salary: $95k – $105k base plus bonus

Overview

Our client is seeking a Big 4 or top Regional Public Accountant for a Senior Accountant role offering a mix of accounting and finance responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L)
• Assist with month-end close processes/tasks
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations
• Verify daily bank and brokerage account cash activities and prepare wire transfers as needed
• Collaborate with tax department to ensure filings and reporting requirements are met
• Assist in identifying potentially fraudulent activity
• Collaborate with tax department to ensure timely compliance with tax filings and tax payments
• Interact with external auditors and third party service providers
• Perform special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in Public Accounting or Management Company
• Superior organizational, time management, and written/oral communication skills.
• Process-driven and proactive with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and superior ability to focus.
• Agile ability to manage multiple tasks, systems, and processes while meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• QuickBooks a plus but not required
